EVANSVILLE -- Honest-to-goodness American icon Loretta Lynn fashions her distinctive fusion of twang, grit and energy in a concert set for the Victory Theatre on Friday, September 25, at 8:00 p.m.
The Coal Miner’s Daughter has delighted audiences for over four decades with tales of her rags to riches journey from the poverty of the Kentucky hills to Nashville superstardom, all woven into a tapestry of songs that helped shape the country music scene of today.
A string of hits like “You Ain’t Woman Enough (to Take My Man),” “Don’t Come Home A’Drinkin’ (with Lovin’ on Your Mind),” and her signature song, “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” established Loretta Lynn as a woman who stood up for herself and drew upon a homespun sense of humor.
Tickets go On Sale 10:00am Friday, August 14. Seats are $53 and $43. All tickets are subject to Ticketmaster Fees, Handling Charges and Facility Fees. Groups of 20 or more receive 10% off. Please call The Centre Box Office at 812-435-5770 Extension 211 to place a group order.
