Greetings to everyone. For some reason, my column did not get printed last week, so I am combining both columns for this week. Hopefully, this one will make it in.

Jesse Stuart CHAMPS for the week of Feb. 27 were Cassidy Seymore, Jameria Rutledge, Jaevion Croney, Donna Larkin, Dylan Daugherty, Kemoni Qualls, Brookelyn Van Matre, Blake Terry, Savannah MItchell, Meredith Whitfield, Chelsey Young, Lydia Sannar, Aubri Clark, Aonna Snorton, Destiny Mackay, Xavier Dotson, Kelsey Lake, Bryer Gibson, Haley McKinley, Aleysia Hughes, Hunter Brooks, Israel Gordon.

Jesse Stuart CHAMPS for the week of March 6 were Alex Strader, Jadan Jones, Logan Hancock, Daniel Sannar, Dylan Daugherty, Shannon Todd, Ruben House, Davin Darnall, Janey Van Matre, Jake Ellis, Bethanie Austin, Rachel Rickard, Earl Leonard, Kyle Ramsey, Madison Shepherd, Cora Larks, Kelsey Lake, Vaunte Chambers, Darius Davis, Ethan Winstead, Shelby Vandygriff, Adrianna Estrada. Congratulations to everyone who won this honor for the past two weeks.

Jesse Stuart Elementary also conducted Multi-Culture Night recently. Children were given the opportunity to learn about different countries, including their customs, foods, etc. Dylan and I enjoyed the experience.

Geneva Laffoon celebrated her 80th birthday recently with a surprise party at the Cracker Barrel. Her family members who were there to help her celebrate included Danny, Charlotte, Betty, Robert, Wilma, Beth, Justin, Brook, Mary and Edmond. She also enjoyed a card shower of more than 131 cards. She is so thankful to everyone who remembered her special day. She also wants to thank our Anton mail carrier Roger Cowan for his extra work in getting all of her cards to her.

Bro. Hughlan Richey is back home after spending about 11 weeks in Florida visiting one of his daughters. I know his other daughter, Kathy Nix, is glad to have him back home.

Birthday wishes go out to Kayce McNary who turned 17 years old on March 5. Kayce is the daughter of Kyle and Cheri McNary. Courtney Darnell celebrated her birthday on March 5, as well. Courtney is the daughter of Darren and Rhonda Darnell. Jamie Harkins celebrated on March 14, along with my brother-in-law, Jerrold Daugherty, who turned 62 years old. Merl Ivy celebrated on March 16. Bryson Harris turned 1 years old on March 5. Bryson is the son of Rodney and Stefanie Harris. Mabel Thomas celebrated on March 6; Tait Cavanaugh, March 11; and Meredith Stevenson, March 12; Bro. Bob Morrison, March 3. I hope everyone enjoyed their special day.

Joyce (Clinton) King and husband, Allen, are great-grandparents. Joyce's grandson, Matt Knight and wife, Emily are the new parents to Hannah Grace Knight. She is the granddaughter of Tommy and Karen (Clinton) Knight and is also the great-granddaughter of the late Jim Clinton. Congratulations to everyone.
