Madisonville Mayor Kevin Cotton, right, issued a proclamation declaring today as Kiwanis of Madisonville Day. Madisonville Noon Kiwanis Club President Alice Chaney, center, and Kiwanis President-Elect Bradley Ashby accept the proclamation on behalf of the club. Kiwanis was chartered on Jan. 30, 1922 and they will celebrate 100 years today from 6-8 p.m. at First Methodist Church. The keynote speaker will be Kentucky Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman.
