Campers and instructors pose after the completion of the first Maroon Tennis Camp, which took place July 30-Aug. 4. MadisonvilleNorth Hopkins boys’ tennis coach Bryan Fazenbaker, assistant coach Nick Adcock and recent North graduate Logan Brown instructed 22 kids ages 8-18 from Hopkins and Webster County. “I didn’t know what to expect, given that we put this together in about 10 days due to our top guys being at a camp in Bowling Green the previous six weeks,” Fazenbaker said. “I’m thankful we were able to offer the camp to a group of student athletes who were very eager to learn how to play tennis or improve their games.”
