The Lady Panthers (2-1) caught fire in the second quarter and stormed back to beat the host Lady Wildcats 56-45 in their home opener.

Trigg County (0-2) jumped out to a 10-point lead in the first 
quarter, but Dawson Springs outscored Trigg 21-9 in the second quarter to take a 28-21 lead in to halftime.

The Lady Panthers led by as many as 18 points in the second half.

Andie Mills led Dawson Springs with 17 points, followed by Brooklyn Cotton with 12 and Malaia Miller and Allie Mills each with eight.
