The Caldwell County boys' soccer team used three second-half goals to pull away for a 3-0 7th District victory Tuesday against host Hopkins County Central.

It was the third straight shutout loss for the Storm, who fell to 1-11-2 overall and 0-3-1 in district play. Caldwell County (9-4) is 2-0 in the district heading into Thursday's game at Madisonville-North Hopkins.

"We came out flat in the second half, and they capitalized on it," Central coach Ben Lutz said. "They were a quick team and kept us pinned back much of the game."

Central plays again Thursday at Union County.
