Lyon County 52, Dawson Springs 41: Seniors Erin Orten scored 12 points and Kaylee Simpson added 11 points for Dawson Springs. "Our defensive play was not strong enough and needs to get better with less fouls," DSHS Coach Amanda Scott said. "I am happy with our progress as a team. We have several players coming off the bench who are starting to emerge and give us quality minutes." Dawson Springs is now 1-1 on the season.

Central basketball selling reserved seating: The boys and girls basketball boosters at Hopkins County Central High School are selling reserved seats along with a season pass. Seat and pass are good for all regular season freshman, junior varsity and varsity girls and boys game, but does not include tournaments. Cost of a reserved seat and pass is $100.
