The Maroons earned their first win of the season in style, hitting the program's highest point total in a game since Feb. 8, 2013 and its highest on the road since 2009 as they pounded McClean County, 96-60 Friday night.

North (1-1) shot 57 percent from the floor and scored at least 20 points in each quarter.

Jaiveon Eaves and Tyrek White led North with 18 points apiece, while Connor Kenney (10 points, seven rebounds) and Joseph Singleton (10 points, five rebounds) also finished in double figures.

Conner Cline added nine points, and Noah Cunningham scored five points and dished out a game-high eight assists.

North led 26-20 after the first quarter and outscored McLean 26-18 in the second quarter to take a 52-38 lead into halftime. The Maroons put the game away in the third quarter with a 24-10 run.

North returns home Tuesday to host Christian County in the nightcap of a girl-boy doubleheader.
